An Exciting Publishing Update

Hello and welcome back to the Keep! I am happy to announce I signed with Archway Publishing, part of the Simon & Schuster family. This new partnership will bring my debut fantasy thriller novel, A Nightmare of Magic and Madness, to new bookstores and audiences.

I took this opportunity to adjust the title of the book to Citadel of Nightmares. It is shorter and maintains the vibe of Logan’s journey into a forgotten stronghold of horror.

Citadel of Nightmares is available now from Amazon and Barnes & Noble. I am leaving A Nightmare of Magic and Madness up for orders until Monday, August 3, making it the limited edition version of the novel.

Though more importantly, publishers have formulas for determining cover price and this means Citadel of Nightmares does cost more. If you’re looking for a thrilling fantasy read, why not get it at a lower price?

I have been honored to have readers with whom I have zero association tell me they enjoyed my story and look forward to Book 2 (which I am working on). This is my author’s dream.

I am also happy with positive reviews, like from BookTrib who said it was, “immersive world-building in the best sense,” and, “The ending, which opens onto a wider horizon without abandoning the intimacy of what came before, leaves the reader eager for what comes next in the series. Spizuco has built something worth following.”

As an aside, I confess I have recently neglected this site. I started Deep In The Keep to share articles and updates on my writer’s journey. There is a lot going on besides the publisher update for me to report on. Alas that will wait until the next update — Coming soon, I promise!

Thank you for dropping into the Keep! Have a great day and keep on reading.
